This policy explains what information PitchPro collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep the data we collect to the minimum needed to run a football-training service.
Who this service is for
PitchPro is intended for players aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly create accounts for children under 13. If you believe an under-age account has been created, contact us and we will remove it.
Information we collect
- Account details — your email address, an encrypted password, and your age.
- Optional profile details — your name, playing position, dominant foot, skill level and (if you add one) a profile photo. A profile photo you upload is stored only in your own browser, not on our servers.
- Training activity — drills completed, quiz scores and your training progress, so we can track your improvement.
- Match-scenario decisions — for each scenario you play while signed in, we store the option you pick, whether it was the strongest choice, any written answer you submit, and the score and written feedback our AI produces. These are saved against your account so your history and progress carry over between devices and sessions.
Match-scenario scoring and AI
When you submit an answer to a match scenario, the text of that answer is sent to our AI processing provider, Abacus.AI, purely to generate a score and written feedback. We do not send your name or email with it, and the answer is not used to identify you. The resulting score and feedback, together with the option you picked and whether it was the strongest choice, are stored against your account so you can review your decision history. We keep this for as long as your account exists; when you delete your account, all of your match-scenario records are permanently deleted along with it.
Analytics
We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics service, to understand which features are used. It does not use cookies, does not track you across other sites, and does not collect personal information. Because of this we do not need to show a cookie-consent banner.
How we use your information
We use your information to create and secure your account, personalise your drills and scenarios, track your progress and streaks, and improve the service. We do not sell your personal information.
Your choices and rights
You can edit your profile details at any time. You can permanently delete your account and all associated records from your profile page — this cannot be undone. To ask any question about your data, contact us using the details below.
